Official Miami Dance Classixx Party Gear

Our Story

Born on the Miami dance floor.

In the '80s and early '90s, Miami had a sound nobody else had. Freestyle played on the radio and in the clubs. Miami bass rattled car trunks from Hialeah to the beach. Disco never really left, NuWave filled the dance floors, and Italo and Hi-NRG came over from Europe and found a second home here. Booty bass took over block parties and roller rinks. Nightclubs stayed packed until sunrise, and the DJ booth was the most important place in the room.

DJ Hans was there for it. He's Havana-born and Miami-raised, and he's spent more than 30 years behind the decks, including time on South Florida radio at Mega 103.5, Party 93.1 and Wild 95.5. He started the Miami Dance Classixx Party to bring that era back the right way. That means no cheesy throwback night, just the real records in an intimate speakeasy, played for people who lived it and people discovering it for the first time.

Every month we turn the lights down and play freestyle, Miami bass, booty, Italo, Hi-NRG, NuWave, disco, retro, and the dance classics that made this city move.

The flamingo is our flag. Every tee, tank and cap is made to order in black and shades of pink, in men's and women's cuts. Wear it to the party, wear it around town, and wear it for anyone who remembers when Miami danced to its own beat.

🦩 See you on the dance floor.
